Time Zone

Base Plugin

Select the general time zone for the entire panel, which can then be combined with the individual time zones of each LabKey unit.

To activate this feature, follow the procedure described on the main [“Additional Features”](https://docs.labkey.io/en/docs/plugin/) page.

In the left-hand menu, select “Plugins” and, in the row corresponding to “Time Zone,” click the green pencil icon (✏️).

You can select a specific time zone for each facility you create, ensuring that all access rules, records, and events are managed according to the local time of that facility.

Here you can learn how to create and/or assign LabKey units to facilities, associating a different time zone.

This feature is especially useful for managing facilities distributed across multiple geographic areas, allowing you to always ensure accurate and consistent control.
