With this plugin, the user directory is significantly enhanced: you can add custom fields to extend the available information and improve access management.
To activate this feature, follow the procedure described on the main [“Additional Features”](https://docs.labkey.io/en/docs/plugin/) page.
Available field types
Access the section for editing additional fields from the left menu under “Plugins” and click the green pencil icon next to the “Custom Fields” row.
- Text: freely enter any useful information (e.g., department, role, alternative badge code, operational notes, etc.).
- Calendar: useful for automating time-based actions.
Calendar field functionality
Calendar-type fields let you configure the system to automatically disable access at midnight on the specified day.
Note: all customizations are accessible from the user management interface, with no technical intervention required.
