Enabling the Mobile App

The dedicated LabKey mobile app lets you access gates remotely and/or via BLE, right from your smartphone. Before anything else, you need to enable the app.

Enabling Geolocation Lock

To ensure an additional level of security, you can enable the geolocation lock feature. This option lets you verify that people are actually at the facility when they issue the remote opening command.

How to Install the App

To use remote and/or BLE opening from your smartphone, or to manage your Light control unit, install the LabKey mobile app from Google Play Store or the Apple App Store.

How to Add or Download a Key

After installing the app, link the key to your user account to start opening gates remotely.

Access Entry via Fast-URL

The Fast-URL feature simplifies access entry for users, letting them register their device and add gates to the LabKey app with a single click. Fast-URL also enables remote opening via Web Link.

Two-Factor Authentication

To increase the level of security, you can enable two-factor authentication for remote opening via web link.

Manage the Light control unit in stand-alone mode directly from the app: adding keys, settings, and diagnostics.
